Rub-a-Dub-Dub!!!!

Ethan LOVES bath time!!! This little smile says it all. He lays in the tub and as long as we keep a warm rag on his belly, he is in heaven!!! He even stretches his legs out to put his feet in the warm water. I can't wait for summer to take him into the pool and see how he likes swimming!!

Thanks Mom!

I have to say thank you to my mom!!! She came and stayed for two weeks to help me adjust to being a new mom. Ethan loved having that time with her, and so did I. She is the best. Mom thanks for being so great, and thanks for loving all us girls as much as you do. I know that it has to be as much as I love my Ethan, and it's pretty much incredible. Also, thanks for doing what you have done in raising us kids. Being a mom is a tough job, it's amazing but tough. Dad, thanks for doing what you do too. I watched how hard it was for Ross to go back to work, and I realize that it's a sacrifice on both ends. You are both incredible and Ross and I love you both alot.

Our LittLe Ethan

Ethan is such a joy to have in our home. He is known as our little smacker. He LOVES to smack his lips when he is hungry or smack on his hands. In fact, when he came out the first thing he did was pull his hands up to his mouth and smack on them!! He loves his hands up by his face too. He must of been like that in the womb because that is how he sleeps. When he is distraught he grabs his little face. It is soooo cute!!!

Our little Ethan hardly ever cries. He doesn't cry for food, or in the bath, he doesn't even cry when he wakes up. The only time he cries is when we are changing his clothes. He HATES being cold!!!! He will cry if he is naked, or even half naked when we change his diaper. He is also our little sneezer. From the day he was born he has sneezed several times a day- he must have daddy's allergies. Although he does have the sound of mommy's monster sneezes. The sound is super sweet.

We just love getting to know this little guy and feel so blessed that he is finally here in our lives. Heavenly Father really knew what He was doing when He created Ethan!!! We love you buddy!

Time 2 Update

Ok. I know it's been forever but our internet has been crazy and I haven't been able to be on for very long at one time. We are having a little boy and we are due January 5, 2009. We can not wait to see him. We had a great summer and the fall has been super busy. Ross was hired for the church in Music and Cultural Arts. I am so proud of him, and we are so lucky that he got the job. We feel soooo blessed. We are looking to move up to Salt Lake, but I am pretty sure we will wait until after the baby gets here because we are already so close. Theres a quick update, I promise I will do more soon.

I AM PREGNANT!!!!

Ok, so I know it has been a while, but I have been super sick because I am pregnant. Ross and I are sooooo excited to be having a baby. It will be a January baby. Which is such a good month since it is the birthday month of me, my sister, my niece, my father in law, my grandmother, my aunt, and two of my cousins. The baby will fit right in.
Telling our families has been soooo fun. We called my parents on Mothers day to give a great gift. We also called all of our grandparents as well. (Although my mom couldn't hold it in and spilled the beans to Grandma and Grandpa Sharon ha ha).
With Ross's parents we surprised them at the airport with signs when they came home from Australia. It was very fun.
